Man breaks into Howard Beach fast food restaurant and takes money from the register: cops

Police are looking for a man who broke into a fast food chain in Howard Beach last week.

According to police, at 11:54 p.m. on Dec. 19, an unknown man approached a Subway restaurant located at 159-49 Cross Bay Blvd. The suspect then broke the front door window and entered the store.

Once inside, the burglar stole $1,000 from the cash register and fled the scene. On Dec. 20, a 36-year-old male employee reported the burglary to the police.
