Charity run on the runway!

Runner Yan eagerly holds out her hand for a refreshing drink as she approaches the half way mark at the JFK Rotary 5K Runway Race. Close to 2,000 runners, registered for the annual race and began to show up at the airport at 7 am to a cloudy chilly 47 degrees. But this did not dampen the spirits of even the small 8 year-old competitors who were accompanied by their parents.
