Police need the public’s help to locate a man who broke into a Ridgewood building and took off with credit cards.
According to authorities, at 7 a.m. on Sept. 6, an unknown man entered a building located at 1541 Covert St. through an unsecured door. Once inside, the suspect took a small case from a desk, which contained three credit cards inside of it.
The crook then fled the scene on foot westbound on Covert Street.
Police described the suspect as a black man with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a white t-shirt with orange lettering on the front, black shorts, black and white sneakers and carrying a black backpack.
