NYPD: Chase Bank in Forest Hills Robbed, Suspect Scores $1,000 Cash

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chase Bank in Forest Hills Thursday afternoon.

The suspect entered the bank at 107-36 71st Ave. around 2:50 p.m. and demanded money from the teller, police say.

The suspect was given $1,000 in cash and then fled the scene, heading west on Queens Blvd.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 50s. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, sunglasses and carrying a bag.
