Cops were looking for a pair of burglars who broke into a Whitestone home and stole cash and property.
According to authorities, two unknown men forcibly entered a residence in the vicinity of 24th Avenue and 146th Street at 12:55 p.m. on Jan. 4 by breaking through a rear door.
Once inside, law enforcement sources said the suspects stole handbags and cash valued at approximately $6,500. The suspects then fled the location in an unknown direction.
The incident was later reported to the 109th Precinct.
Police described the suspects as Hispanic men between the ages of 25 and 35 years old. One suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans and the other was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black baseball cap and dark pants.
