Councilman Robert Holden, who serves the neighborhoods of Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Woodhaven and Woodside, visited Grand Avenue Pharmacy and spoke with the owner about the incident.
Holden also took the chance to recognize the much-needed work from law enforcement to eliminate businesses being burglarized.
QNS reached out to the store owner for comment and is waiting for a response.
I stopped by and spoke with Tony, the owner of Grand Avenue Pharmacy, about the alarming break-in this morning. In nearly 40 years of business, he's never experienced such a troubling incident. Despite hearing crime is down, we know that's not the reality. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/4Q5OdWmeZr
