Police from the 104th Precinct are searching for the delinquents responsible for the violent mugging of a man in Ridgewood last weekend.
Police say an unknown perpetrator pistol-whipped a 38-year-old male in the head at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, while in the vicinity of Decatur Street and Wyckoff Avenue.
The assailant stole the victim’s iPhone, clothing, and wallet containing $200 before heading southbound toward Wyckoff Avenue, police said. Two unidentified men were later seen on a surveillance camera riding an electric scooter near where the victim’s iPhone was recovered on Cooper Street and Wilson Avenue.
