Eyewear retailer Warby Parker is set to open its second Queens location next month.
The company is opening a store on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Queens Center Mall, located at 90-15 Queens Blvd., where it will offer an array of glasses and in-store eye exams. Warby Parker has built a reputation for stylish eyewear and comprehensive eye exams.
The announcement follows the eyewear company’s opening of its first Queens location last month in Long Island City, at 25-30 Jackson Ave.
The Queens Center Mall store will feature unique local artwork by New York-based artist Edward Ubiera. Ubiera’s geometric work depicts iconic New York City-related elements, including subways, music, and sports. Ubiera’s work will be on display above the glasses and sunglasses shelves inside the store.
The retailer opened its flagship store on Greene Street in Soho in 2013. Since then, Warby Parker has continued to expand and now operates over 200 stores across the U.S. and Canada.
To celebrate the grand opening at the Queens Center Mall, shoppers will receive a special, limited edition tote bag with a purchase.
