Queens Borough Hall to host free screening of Kung Fu Panda 4 this Saturday

Enjoy a free, family-friendly movie screening at Queens Borough Hall this weekend.

Queens Borough President Donovan Richards and Rooftop Films are screening Kung Fu Panda 4 on the lawn behind the Helen Marshall Cultural Center on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.

Located at 120-55 Queens Blvd. in Kew Gardens, the screening is open to the public and does not require pre-registration.

Jack Black plays the titular character and hero, Po, in Kung Fu Panda 4. The fourth film in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, Po must find a new hero to take over as Dragon Warrior as he pursues his latest mission of becoming the next spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. He teams up with Zhen, a corsac fox and quick-witted thief, to uncover the truth about the recent sighting of villains Po defeated in the past. 

Founded in 1997 as an all-volunteer non-profit organization, Rooftop Films has transformed into the largest outdoor showcase of new independent films in the United States. Its signature programs include its Summer Series, a summer-long outdoor film festival presenting a lineup of new independent and foreign films in locations across New York City.
