A vandal lurking outside Assembly Member Jenifer Rajkumar’s office in the wee hours of the morning last week destroyed the front door to her office, leaving a bunch of broken glass behind.
Video surveillance footage shared by the Assembly Member captured the vandal walking up to her district office, located at 83-91 Woodhaven Blvd., at 3:50 a.m., picking up a large rock on the sidewalk and chucking it through her front door.
Representing the neighborhoods of Glendale, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, Ridgewood and Woodhaven, Rajkumar responded to the incident by saying targeting and intimidation would only strengthen her team.
“Every act of targeting and intimidation just makes our team stronger,” Rajkumar shared in a statement. “Ours has always been a movement to win against all odds, to bring a new voice to government, and to empower all New Yorkers who do not have a seat at the table of power in our City.”
After the door is destroyed, the creep can be seen in the video walking away from the building to fiddle with something in his pants — even going as far as unbuckling his pants and pulling them and his underwear down before pulling both back to his waist.
The video footage cuts off when the vandal returns to Rajkumar’s office. Her office shares that the assembly member’s desk drawers were found open when they arrived at the scene.
The office is still assessing which items may have been taken, if any. Police from the NYPD 102nd Precinct continue to search for the suspected vandal.
