Three men sought for jumping two teens at the Bayside White Castle before stealing their AirPods: NYPD

Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are still looking for three suspects who attacked two 16-year-old boys at the White Castle at the intersection of Bell Boulevard and Northern Boulevard on the night of Friday, Nov. 8, and remain at large.

The two boys were in front of the burger joint at 213-17 Northern Blvd. at around 10:30 p.m. when three strangers emerged from a black Honda minivan and confronted the youngsters. A verbal dispute escalated into violence when the assailants began to punch out the teens, police said.

The perpetrators snatched the teenager’s Apple AirPods before speeding away from the scene in the Honda minivan traveling westbound on Northern Boulevard toward the Clearview Expressway. The teens sustained minor injuries but were not transported to the hospital.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects and described them as being in their late teens or early 20s with dark hair. One wore a black T-shirt and black shorts. The second suspect had a beard and mustache and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, while the third assailant had a goatee and wore a dark gray long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

Through Nov. 10, the 111th Precinct has reported 54 robberies so far in 2024, one more than the 53 reported at the same point last year, an increase of 1.7%, according to the most recent CompStat report., Felony assaults are down in the precinct with 80 reported so far this year, seven fewer than the 87 reported at the same point in 2023, a decline of 8%, according to CompStat.
