Construction work is nearly finished for a 15-story residential building known as “The Prince” at 134-03 35th Ave. in Flushing.
The structure is now almost completely enclosed in the reflective glass curtain wall. All that is left to complete are some sections at the ground floor close to the entrance to a subterranean parking garage. Wooden fencing, metal gates and construction barriers continue to block off the sidewalk for now, but they will likely be removed in the coming weeks, once the last sections of the curtain wall are added.
Located between 35th Avenue and Prince Street, The Prince will have 120 condominium units, ranging in size from one-bedroom to two-bedroom. Among the amenities within each unit are hardwood floors, high-end appliances and gas stoves. Other amenities throughout the building include 24/7 security, a full-time doorman, a shared laundry room, a parcel room, indoor parking, bicycle parking and a garden, a children’s play area and lounge seating on the roof. The building is also pet-friendly. Another notable feature of the building is six stacks of balconies lined with glass railings at the western elevation.
My Architect PC designed The Prince and United Construction Development Group have been developing the building. Construction will be completed no later than summer 2025, though it will likely be much sooner than that.
