Permits have been filed for the construction of a 3-story residential building with six housing units on the vacant lot at 33-12 104th St. in North Corona.

The proposed building would be 33 feet tall and yield 3,928 square feet of space. With an average unit scope of 654 square feet, the residences will most likely be rentals.

Other planned features at the property include a cellar and a rear yard 55 feet in length. There are multiple bus stops nearby for the Q23, Q48 and Q66 lines. Other notable features within close proximity to the property include the Louis Armstrong Center, the Louis Armstrong House Museum, Queens Public Library Langston Hughes and P.S. 92Q Harry T. Stewart Sr.

The building applications were submitted by George Ruilova of VC 33-12 LLC. These applications list Robert Lin of A&T Engineering P.C. as the architect of record.

Since 33-12 104th St. is just a vacant lot, demolition permits will likely not be needed during the construction process. There has not yet been an estimated completion date for the proposed building’s construction to wrap up.
