Far Rockaway man killed after being shot in the chest

A gunshot wound proved fatal for a Far Rockaway resident who was murdered in the early hours of Saturday, cops said.

Police found Kayvon Moore, 30, at Redfern and Nameoke avenues about 2:30 a.m. He had been shot in the chest.

Responders took Moore to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, but it was too late to save him.

The investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests.
