Come to the LIC Flea and Food market this weekend, July 7-8, for some amazing eats and treats — and get a sneak peek at a very sweet festival coming up in August.
Kick back and grab a brew at the All-Queens Beer and Wine Garden while also enjoying some of the best food vendors Queens has to offer.
This weekend, American Pharoah will have chicken and beef kabobs as well as refreshing iced hibiscus tea. Shark Bitez brings to you tropically infused plantain cups that are perfectly satisfying bites. Four the Hard Way also returns with their authentic Jamaican cuisine, including curried goat, rice and peas, and more.
The market will also have a special preview of the NY Wine & Sweets Festival, which has been rescheduled to take place the weekend of Aug. 4-5. You can find at the preview an amazing array of gourmet baked donuts from Foughnuts (gluten-free, nut-free and vegan options are available).
Tickets for the NY Wine & Sweets Festival start at $39 and are available at licflea.com/special-events. The event offers tastings of some of New York’s best wines as well as sweets of all kinds from some of the area’s best chefs. The NY Wine and Sweets Festival is a truly one-of-a-kind event in Queens, the largest and most diverse borough in New York City.
Entrance to this weekend’s market is, of course, free!
The LIC Flea & Food market is located at 5-25 46th Ave. in Long Island City, at the corner of Fifth Street and 46th Avenue. Visit licflea.com for more information.
