MetroCard Bus/Van Coming To A Location Near You

MetroCard buses and vans will be visiting different parts of Queens throughout the month of August. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities may apply for the Reduced Fare MetroCard on the MetroCard buses or obtain an application from a Metrocard van. Seniors must present photo identification proving they are at least 65 years of age. Persons with disibilities must have a valid US Medicare Card (Red, White and Blue) along with a valid federal/state-issued photo identification card in order to be immediately processed. Disabled persons without Medicare cards must ensure that their doctors complete the physicians section of the application.
After a review process, permanent Reduced Fare MetroCards are mailed to qualified applicants.
Anyone may add value to MetroCards or purchase pre-encoded MetroCards. Staff will be available to answer any questions.For more information or to find out other locations with scheduled MetroCard bus/van visits call (212) METROCARD.
