John Bacile and Ari Papagianis, both very young players to the league, demonstrated all their skills on the field Saturday for Outback Steakhouse.

Ari, the southpaw, drove the ball through the right side of the infield with amazing consistency. He made extraordinary attempts to snare balls that would have gone for extra bases.

John glided around second base like he was playing that position for years. He has worked on his hitting from the beginning and is becoming a serious threat with his bat.

Sunday’s game was the most exciting one of the year, as the short-handed Outback Steakhouse team blanketed the field with excellent defense.

Matthew Bader was particularly stellar, playing his position like a veteran. He scooped up ground balls and showed his rocket-throwing arm to the amazement of the crowd. His fielding alone would have warranted the game ball, but his powerful hitting was even more impressive.

Max Ganik, Ari Papagianis and Nicholas Bader all contributed with great hitting and excellent defense. The team played with determination and pride.
