City Employee Arrested
A civilian employee of the police department was arrested on January 12 following a domestic dispute.
Stephen DeJesus, a traffic enforcement agent, was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree.
Investigating DOA
Detectives and emergency services personnel went to 91-11 86th Drive on January 14 in order to interview a 27-year-old male regarding a shooting that had occurred earlier at the 49th Precinct.
ESU entered the location and found the victim in the basement with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim is identified as Brian Rosario.
There is no criminality suspected. An investigation is ongoing.
