Police responded to a dispute after a black SUV injured pedestrians at Steinway Street between Broadway and 34th Ave. in Astoria on February 3. According to reports, three of the five individuals involved in the dispute used the vehicle to strike two males (one twice). The SUV then fled the scene. The two males were taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where one is listed in critical condition, the other in stable condition. The occupants of the vehicle are still being sought, but one of the individuals involved in the original assault, Felix Reges, has been arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
