A thought on profiling

The majority of the democrats, the majority of the republicans and the majority of the American people all obviously believe in racial profiling judging by their opposition to the Arabs controlling the security at American ports.
We can then assume that we can practice the same racial profiling at all our airports without anyone complaining.
Am I being too logical?
