Long Island Care Center (LICC), one of the premier nursing and rehabilitation centers in Queens, recently announced that Hsienhua Tan (See-En-Tahn) has come on board as the facility's Director of Rehabilitation Therapies.

As a New York State Physical Therapy Board member with an MBA in Health Care Administration from Baruch College-Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and an MS in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, Tan is certainly qualified for the position.
She also has a BA in Psychology from City College, City University of New York and has experience as chief physical therapist at the Rehab Institute of New York at Florence Nightingale Health Center, and most recently as a physical therapist at Senior Health Partners, Inc.
“Rehab Therapy is a vital and necessary part of the daily routine for many of our residents, and Hsienhua brings a fresh new perspective to the department,” said Joshua Pollack, Director of Long Island Care Center. “We are happy and lucky to have her, and very pleased to add Hsienhua to our family of health professionals here at Long Island Care.”
As the new head of Rehabilitation Therapies, Tan will oversee the day-to-day operations of LICC's active physical, speech and occupational therapy department. She will additionally supervise staff, develop, assess and guide treatment protocols, and be responsible for interdisciplinary patient care.
