The Jamaica Central Queens Chapter of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) hosted a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island at the World's Fair Marina Restaurant in Flushing. During a dinner reception attended by more than 100 business and real estate professionals from Queens and Long Island, attendees and honored guest speaker, Assemblymember Michele Titus, mingled and enjoyed a wonderful evening.
Titus was recognized by LIBOR for her dedication to the well-known real estate association that serves real estate professionals throughout Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. In a moving speech, Titus thanked LIBOR and the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island for outstanding support of families in need in Queens County and throughout the Island.
“The expansion of the House added an additional 24 much-needed rooms to our facility,” said Silvana LaFerlita Gullo, executive director of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. “We depend on the generosity of individuals and organizations like LIBOR whose outstanding support enables us to continue in our mission to provide our families with the comforts of home while they are forced to be away from home. Thank you for your dedication to the House!”
