Remodeling to emphasize their new partnership with Verizon, Paging Zone Verizon Wireless offers a vast array of options to their customers. Castro sells all models of cell phones from Nokia to Motorola to Samsung and LG.
&#8220The most popular features people look for on cell phones are cameras and MP3 players,” Castro said. &#8220People want the features of their iPods on their phones too,” he added. With plans starting as low as $39.99 a month, cell phones are beginning to challenge the necessity of house phones. &#8220It just does not make sense to pay so much for your home phone. You can use your cell phone anywhere and anytime you want to,” Castro said.
Castro learned the business from his uncle and felt he could run his own business one day. The most important lesson he took from the experience was the importance of customer service. Now with his own store, Castro says, &#8220the most important thing is to give the customer what they want, rather than things they don't need.”
