WPI Verizon follows the motto “we never stop working for you,” and has four stores serving customers to do just that.
The first store was opened about five years ago in Flushing at 158-05 Northern Boulevard. Two more stores followed - 149-05 Northern Boulevard in Flushing and 39-12 Bell Boulevard in Bayside. WPI Verizon, which is owned by David Lim, will soon welcome a fourth store to its company when it opens another location in Flushing at 36-42 Union Street in Flushing on Monday, December 18.
Along with providing phone plans, WPI Verizon stores try to assist customers with billing and phone repair issues they might have, rather than simply directing them to contact a customer service number.
“We try our best to resolve the problem for the customer,” said general manager James Chi.
Chi said that it is the quality of WPI Verizon's service that sets them apart from other phone service stores. He added that he gets many referrals from his customers.
“We provide friendly customer service,” Chi said.
In regards to opening up more WPI Verizon locations in the future, Chi said that it is definitely a possibility if they see a need for it.
“We always keep our opportunities open and try to expand more,” he said.
The 158-05 Northern Boulevard location, which provides service in English and Korean, is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It can be reached by calling 718-321-9969.
The other three locations are open Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 8p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Bayside store has service in English and Chinese and can be reached by calling 718-767-8282.
