As New York prepares for colder temperatures, Lone Star Home Heating is helping to make sure residents can remain toasty warm inside their homes.
The business was established in 1992 by John LaCertosa, Sr., offering residential utility alternative gas heating service plans.

Lone Star Home Heating also offers several different programs to its clients. One program supplements a homeowner's needs where their current company might have deficiencies. Also, they provide annual preventative maintenance to ensure that boilers will make it through the winter.
All of the staff at Lone Star Home Heating receives special, hands-on training from LaCertosa. They also take part in theory sessions.
LaCertosa gives his personal guarantee to Lone Star Home Heating clients - “Show me a residential gas heating service plan that covers as much as mine and costs the same, and I'll give you my utility alternative gas heating service plan for two full years absolutely free guaranteed.” So far, no one has been able to find a plan that matches that of Lone Star Home Heating.
In the future, Lone Star Home Heating, which is based out of College Point, is planning on launching two new programs to service customers - a chimney cleaning program and a monthly maintenance program.
