Eduardo J. Mart’ is honored

Eduardo J. Mart’, President of Queensborough Community College, was named to the State’s Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU) 2007 Independent Sector Alumni Hall of Distinction. Mart’ was presented with the award on Monday, March 5 at the Legislative Office Building in Albany. The CICU created the Alumni Hall of Distinction in 2000 to recognize graduates of New York State’s independent sector higher education institutions who have made extraordinary contributions to the state and country through their careers and civic service. Marti was recognized for his accomplishments as an experienced educator, who has led several community colleges with distinction for over 25 years.
