Have a Super Saturday

How do you find out what you are missing by not being part of the NYC Parks recreation centers? Come out and take part in a “Super Saturday!”
The “Super Saturday” program offers parents and children a chance to participate in activities offered to members of the recreation center free.
Activities vary by location but include an opportunity for children to display their athletic talents by participating in basketball tournaments and dance instruction. There is an assortment of board games to choose from and a chance for parent-child interaction in arts and crafts. It’s guaranteed to be a fun, safe, and educational experience.
The City of New York/Parks & Recreation would not have it any other way. Since 1910, the organization has provided the most affordable and extensive network of recreational services throughout the City. The facilities, managed by professional staff, serve children of all ages. All you have to do is show up and be ready to have some fun! As activities may vary by date and location, you should contact your neighborhood center in advance to find out what activities are available and when.
