A driver jumped the curb in front of 27 Center Drive, struck two parked vehicles and was later pronounced dead. According to police, the 57-year-old man, behind the wheel of a 2005 Range Rover, was taken to North Shore Hospital, where he died. There is no criminality suspected at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
Man Arrested In Blockbuster Robbery
A man was arrested for allegedly threatening a Blockbuster employee with a knife as he tried to steal DVDs from the store.
According to police, the suspect took the movies and tried to leave the store, but the cashier attempted to stop him. A struggle ensued, and the perp displayed a knife and left the location. When a witness followed the man, he again took out the knife and told him to stop following or he would be cut. The suspect was later taken into custody.
