Mets helping fight hunger

Mets relief pitcher Aaron Heilman signs a ball and a GourMets Family Cookbook for a fan at the Stop & Shop in Forest Hills. The team and the supermarket chain are promoting the collection of Mets’ favorite recipes, to benefit Food Bank for New York City and Island Harvest, charities that fight hunger. Heilman’s contribution was a sugar cookie recipe, provided by his own sweetie, wife Kerri (center.)
