The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects who posed as repairmen and burglarized an 85-year-old victim’s home.
Police say the perps posed as a father-and-son team and claimed to be fixing a roof next door when they noticed the victim’s chimney was in need of repair.
The victim allegedly agreed to pay the men for their services, and, after spending some time on the roof, went to collect payment. While one distracted the victim, the other took a large amount of money from the victim’s room. Both suspects fled in a white pick-up truck.
The first suspect is a man in his 50s, 5’6”, 190 pounds with a thick mustasche. The second is a 25-year-old man, 5’6”, clean shaven.
