Members of the Ballroom Dance Team from P.S. 41 in Bayside put on an exhibition of ballroom dancing for the residents of Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home on Super Bowl Sunday and then distributed gifts to the audience.
The young terpsichoreans showed-off their skills in the foxtrot, rumba, merengue, tango and swing dancing on Sunday afternoon, February 3, to the delight of the residents, who reminisced about “their music” and dancing days.
The ladies received rose pins and purses. The men got dominoes. The funding came from an anonymous New England philanthropist.
