Como is sworn in

In front of colleagues, family and friends, Councilmember Anthony Como was ceremoniously sworn in by City Clerk Hector L. Diaz during a council meeting. Como defeated three opponents in a Special Election for the 30th Council District held on June 3. He replaces disgraced former Councilmember Dennis Gallagher.
“I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work as a legislator in this great city,” said Como. “I am humbled and honored to be elected by the residents of the 30th Council District. I look forward to representing them in the City Council and committed to assisting my neighbors with issues that concern them.”
