A ‘Historical day’

The Broad Channel Historical Society held its annual Historical Day on October 5 at the VFW Hall. Society members include: (sitting) Marie Smith, Jane Tubridy, and Barbara Toborg; (standing) Dan Mundy and Joe Young. Visitors brought photographs and memories to be added to the historical collection that can be viewed in the Broad Channel library. In addition, Liz and Dan Guarino, authors of the book Broad Channel, were there to talk to visitors about their latest addition to the “Images of America” series from Arcadia Press.
