    The Duquesne University Tamburitzans will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 16. The show will feature 36 performers and live music. It will represent countries such as Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovaki, Greece and Russia through dance, music, and song. The cost of admission is $35.
    Former Herman’s Hermits lead singer Peter Noone will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 22. Some of the hit songs the band had were “I’m Into Something Good,” “I’m Henry VIII I Am,” and “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” among others. Tickets are $39 and $42.

    Pianist Vladimir Feltsman will perform at the LeFrak Concert Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 9. He has been a guest soloist with leading orchestras throughout the United States and has appeared in concert series and music festivals all over the world. Tickets are $36 or $34 for seniors, students and Queens College alumni and staff.
    “Brian Stokes Mitchell in Concert with Special Guest Star Marin Mazzie” will be held in the Colden Auditorium at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 22. The two have co-starred in Broadway shows such as “Ragtime,” “Kiss Me, Kate,” and “Man of La Mancha.” Tickets are $46 or $44 for seniors, students, alumni and those with a Queens College ID.

    Pamela Hamilton, a vocalist and violinist, will perform “String Voyage” on Friday, November 7. She performs in various styles, including jazz, gospel and rhythm and blues.
    The Annual NEA Jazz Masters Concert: A Song for Earl May will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, November 21. This year, Jimmy Heath, Barry Harris and Joe Wilder will receive NEA Jazz Masters Awards. They will be joined by Benny Powell, Tootie Heath and David Wong in paying tribute to deceased bassist Earl May.

    The Limn Dance Company will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 8 in celebration of Jose Limn’s centennial birthday. Carla Maxwell now leads the company, which “balances classic works with commissions from contemporary choreographers.”

    “Chamber Music of Hispanic Heritage with the Long Island Strong Quartet” at 2 p.m. at the Flushing Library on Sunday, November 2. The performance will feature composers from a variety of countries, including Spain, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Brazil.     Russian author and publisher Alexander Shklyarinsky will be at the Forest Hills Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 6. He is a poet, humorist and biographer. He will be selling and signing copies of his latest book “The Summary of Life,” which is about 20th century Russian literature figures.     There will be a book talk with “Identical Strangers” authors Paula Bernstein and Elyse Schein at the Hillcrest Library on Saturday, November 8 at 2:30 p.m. The two women are twins who were raised by different adoptive parents after having been separated at birth.     “A Sound of Angels featuring Soprano Elizabeth Tryon” will be held at the Fresh Meadows Library at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. She performs a variety of songs, including classic, show tunes, original pieces and contemporary music.     Bass baritone Gunter Stern will perform a concert featuring hit Broadway songs at the Bayside Library on Saturday, November 15 at 2 p.m. Some of the shows featured will include “Carousel,” “Babes in Arms,” “Pal Joey,” “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Guys & Dolls” and “Can-Can.” The Bayside Library is located at 214-20 Northern Boulevard and can be reached at 718-229-1834.
