Another fatal
hit-and-run in Woodhaven

Highway officers examine a scooter at the scene where a Chinese food delivery man was struck and killed on Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven late Saturday night, April 18. The victim, Youyun Zhou, was dragged nearly a block before the vehicle fled the scene. Police were able to follow a debris trail to a home on 76th Street where the driver, Gus Pappaeliou, 27, was found and placed under arrest. He is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
