Firefighters from Engine 293, the “Woodhaven Wildcats” responded to a two-story dwelling at 84-09 Rockaway Boulevard on Monday evening, August 24. Responders on the scene, as well as residents, say that there were sparks on the second floor, above Veterinary Care Unlimited, inside of which were dogs and cats. No animals — or humans — were injured.
