Police have arrested Gino Florencia in connection with a fatal shooting on Saturday, October 24.
The incident occurred in front of 45-55 48th Street, where police observed the first victim, 25-year-old Edison Vera, with a gun shot wound under the arm and into his chest. The other victim, also 25, had been shot in the abdomen and left arm. Vera was pronounced dead at Elmhurst General Hospital.
Florencia has been charged with murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
