Luckily, Blockbuster was not open yet. At about 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, a Honda Civic drove through the window of the Blockbuster video located at 157th Avenue and Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach. Employees were on the scene, but preliminary reports claim no one was injured. The unidentified driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital and Blockbuster was closed pending an inspection and repairs.
