Any attorney worth the ink on his law degree needs to possess certain values in order to properly represent his or her clients. They must display integrity, knowledge of law, persistence, accessibility and courtesy. If your attorney is missing any of these characteristics, you are as good as jailed.
Matthew H. Goldsmith, Esq., of Goldsmith & Associates, started his private law firm in July of 2009, and since then his main thrust has been to help as many people as possible.
Goldsmith has made a name for himself working in criminal defense and Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases specifically. He also works with civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights cases, employment discrimination, commercial litigation and many other cases. Visit his web site, www.mgaplaw.com for a full list of his legal specialties.
Goldsmith graduated from St. John’s School of Law in 2003 and immediately began working in the Legal Aid Society in criminal defense. His time there gave him experience working with city district attorneys, and helped him learn how certain bureaus prosecute. He knows their style, recognizes patterns in cases and knows which experts to use to assess cases faster.
While working in the Legal Aid Society was rewarding, the case load was enormous and did not give him the opportunity to focus what he feels is the proper amount of attention on individual cases.
“I decided to start a private practice because it puts me in a better position to help people,” said Goldsmith. “I can focus the proper attention on individual cases and give my clients the representation they need.”
Clients need the representation of an attorney with the utmost commitment to the New York State Attorney Rules of Professional Conduct. And Goldsmith’s policy is to follow the laws of conduct when representing his clients from across the five boroughs and Long Island. He has also represented clients from Westchester and New Jersey, and would gladly serve potential clients from just about anywhere.
Most attorneys begin charging clients as soon as they step into their office, but at Goldsmith & Associates, there is no cost for the initial consultation. Call Goldsmith at 212-217-1594 or email him at ga@mgaplaw.com for legal representation and judge his practice for yourself.
Goldsmith & Associates, PLLC is located at 350 Broadway, 10th Floor, New York, New York 10013.
