Good work leads to crime reduction

102nd Precinct

Captain Armando DeLeon, Commanding Officer of the 102nd Precinct, said the 102 is sixth in crime reduction, out of 76 precincts citywide.
Though officers are still facing a problem with car break-ins in Woodhaven, a number of good arrests have been made, and there is an increased police presence in the area.
For those who witness – or suspect – a crime, DeLeon urged a call to 9-1-1.
