The NYPD Community Affairs Bureau, 106th Precinct and 102nd Precinct, in collaboration with The United Hindu Cultural Council of U.S.A. and Borough President Helen Marshall celebrated a gathering in honor of Phagwah on Thursday, March 11 at The United Hindu Cultural Council Senior Center in South Ozone Park. Phagwah is the Indo-Caribbean festival of colors, or Holi, that welcomes spring and the triumph of truth over evil.
