On Saturday, April 10, a brush fire burned in Rockwood Park, from 78th Street and 161st Avenue to 83rd Street and 161st to 165th Avenues. Fire Department officials say that the blaze went to three alarms and took 35 units – or 138 firefighters to battle. It was brought under control in approximately an hour and 17 minutes.
