A suspect who allegedly held up the Lantigua Deli, located at 30-74 14th Street, on May 29 has been arrested, but police are still searching for his partner in crime.
Brave workers detained Jose Cruz, 24, after he attempted to take cash. During the struggle one round was fired from his gun.
He is charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
A second suspect, described as 30 to 40 years old, 5’10"and 250 pounds, fled the location.
