Cops on the look out for Bayside bank robber

BAYSIDE — Police were looking for a man who they said robbed a Nara Bank last week.

The incident took place at the branch at 209-07 Northern Blvd. May 24 around 2:45 p.m., police said. The suspect came in, demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of bills, according to investigators.

He was described as a 35-year-old Latino, roughly 175 pounds, who wore sunglasses, a yellow hooded sweater and dark pants, police said.
