Arrest in homicide
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Christian O’Hara in May.
According to police, Miguel Viruet, 35, was taken into custody on Thursday, July 22 after an investigation linked him to the death of O’Hara in front of 118-07 Atlantic Avenue on Wednesday May 5.
Viruet has been charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon.
