I’m perturbed and find it appalling that the MTA is planning to raise fares, cut services and continue layoffs. My question is when will all this end?
What really is getting me hot under the collar is the closing of token booths. I believe that these people are the eyes and ears of the system for those of us that travel the trains. Now the criminal element and terrorists can run wild.
These cuts and layoffs hurt not only the MTA employees but also the public at large. Remember safety is a big concern for those of us that ride the trains.
