Anthony Como, Republican candidate for the State Senate, recently joined members of the Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps. (GVAC) during their “bucket brigade” fundraiser.
GVAC provides anyone in need of emergency medical treatment in their response area with prompt, efficient emergency care and transport to any of the nearby hospitals at no cost. GVAC also provides non-emergency transport for any area resident. The ambulance is available to transport any non-ambulatory resident to and from doctor’s offices, nursing homes and hospitals.
“I want to thank all the members of GVAC for their selfless service to the residents of the community,” said Como. “The members of the Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps. are shining examples of ordinary citizens doing extraordinary things for their neighbors and community. I urge everyone in our community to show their support by giving GVAC a generous donation so they can continue helping residents.”
