State Senator Frank Padavan continued his Election Day tradition of bringing cookies to poll workers in his districts at P.S. 178 in Jamaica; the same school his son and daughter attended.
Padavan seemed cautiously confident when asked what the major differences were between himself and his Democratic opponent, two-time councilmember Tony Avella.
“Credibility, integrity, honesty…common sense,” said Padavan, who noted that he was running on his over 38-year record of achievement in Queens, shortly after he cast his ballot at 1 p.m.
“Whoever you vote for; just vote,” said Padavan. “It’s important because your voice has to be heard.”
