Forest Park School’s students help others

The Student Council of The Forest Park School has been extremely busy and very involved in helping members of the community.
During the holiday season they shared their good fortune and well wishes with others.
They held their first annual toy drive, collecting many toys from the school community for those who are less fortunate.
They also worked closely with teacher Kristy Rodgers, and Class ¾-352, as they invited and encouraged the students of our school to make holiday greeting cards to be mailed to soldiers in Afghanistan. Hundreds of cards with words of support and thanks were collected and delivered to the post office to be mailed overseas.
The students are currently involved in a “Valentine’s for Vets” project. – Tonia N. Cimino
