Apply now to The Queens Courier for a chance to win a paid internship this summer sponsored by the New York Press Association (NYPA).
The program will offer a $2,500 stipend that is paid through the NYPA Foundation. Only one stipend will be awarded per newspaper and interested college journalism students should apply directly to The Queens Courier for our eight week summer internship.

and include all required pieces, including recommendations, published work, cover letter, and a story.
Send your applications to The Courier at 38-15 Bell Boulevard, Bayside, NY 11361 by March 1. Once we receive the applications, the editorial staff will decide on the winning candidate to submit to the NYPA for the stipend funded internship.
